Top Glove has appointed Mr Martin Giles Manen who was the Audit Committee Chairman at Heineken Malaysia as its Independant Non Executive Director and to hold the same position at the worlds largest glove company.

Martin who left Heineken in 2021 has been in Malaysia holding various position including as Independent Non-Executive Director of Bermaz Auto Berhad, Channel Micron Holdings Company Limited and Independent Non-Executive Director of BOS Wealth Management Malaysia Berhad (formerly known as Pacific Mutual Fund Berhad) since.

He held the Audit Chairman at the beverage production company from 2008 to May 2021 and an Independent Non-Executive Director from 2009 to 2018 and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Management Committee from 2009 to 2018 of Unisem (M) Berhad.

Prior to joining Sime Darby Berhad, he worked in the audit, tax and advisory departments of KPMG in Kuala Lumpur and London between 1975 and 1985. Mr. Manen has held independent non-executive directorships in other public companies, including in Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad from July 2009 to July 2019.
