TOP GLOVE FOUNDATION’S CHARITY CONCERT RAISES RM200,000 FOR FOUR CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS

Proceeds from the Foundation’s 2022 fund raising initiative will help

charities’ mission to support people with mental disabilities

Shah Alam, Monday, 25 July 2022 Top Glove Foundation (the “Foundation”), the philanthropic arm of Top Glove Corporation Bhd (“Top Glove”), the world’s largest manufacturer of gloves, recently raised RM200,000 for four nongovernmental organisations to aid people with mental disabilities through its 2022 charity concert.

On Saturday, July 23, 2022, around 700 people gathered at the Top Glove Tower ballroom for an evening of delicious and healthy vegetarian food and good company, all for a good cause. The guests included the Top Glove Board of Directors, Top Glove Foundation Board of Trustees, business partners, colleagues, as well as Meru and Kapar community members.

In line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Reducing Inequality (SDG 10) and Partnership for Goals (SDG 17), the charity concert, which featured Top Glove’s musical talents, marked the Foundation’s public fund raising initiative aimed at uplifting and improving the welfare of the underserved community.

Mr. Lim Cheong Guan, the Foundation’s Advisor, who is also Top Glove’s Executive Director, said: As a homegrown business entity, we have always believed in doing well by doing good. Through the years, the Foundation has supported individuals and communities through its three pillars: Community, Education, and Environment.”
