TOP GLOVE’S FACTORY IN THAILAND AWARDED NATIONAL COOPERATIVE EDUCATION AWARD

 Top Glove Thailand factory nationally recognised for its internship programme

Songkhla, Thursday, 6 June 2019 Top Glove’s Factory 7, Top Glove Medical (Thailand) co. Ltd was declared a winner in the National Cooperative Education Awards 2019 under the large corporation category by the Thailand Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, garnering significant recognition for the company’s employment practices. The award acknowledges the company’s efforts in providing an efficient, supportive and informative platform for university students to perform their internship programme at Top Glove.

Factory 7 was initially nominated by the Prince of Songkhla University as the best company for Cooperative Internship (university level) and was selected the regional winner amongst all nominated companies in lower South Thailand. It then proceeded to win the National Cooperative Education Award 2019.

Top Glove’s well-planned internship programme - which provides trainees with clear job descriptions, a structured mentor and buddy system, a competitive allowance, accommodation (if needed) and many staff benefits which include access to the company gym, and also boasts positive testimonials from former trainees - were some of the main reasons why Top Glove was nominated. Additionally, the company has continuously maintained active partnerships with numerous universities.
